Jodie Foster: "I see a lot of young actors, and I'm not saying I'm jealous, but I don't understand how they just want to act."

I love the way she’s explaining that that’s really the only thing she’s good at, since she was working from such a young age, it’s so sane and humble to view it as a skill and craft just as other skills.

Wes Anderson Says Jodie Foster Has Turned Down Starring in at Least Three of His Films

She's only been in four movies in the last ten years. I'm sure she gets tons of offers so she can very selective.

Which film and performance made you a fan of Jodie Foster?

Contact and Silence of the Lambs

'Stubborn' Jodie Foster 'Driving Her Son MAD by Refusing to Give Him a Leg-Up in Hollywood' — 'She's Determined Not to Make Him a Nepo Baby'

Either Jodie Foster doesn’t understand what a “nepo baby” is or the article writer doesn’t. Either way, the son is always a nepo baby, regardless of whether his mom is active or passive in using those connections. (My guess is the writer doesn’t understand the definition. Foster is simply too smart to not know this.)

What do you think is Jodie Foster's best performance?

Silence Of The Lambs. The scene where she explains the meaning behind the name of the movie through her traumatic childhood experience

Why is Jodie Foster considered unconventional or rated a 6 on this sub? She is extremely stunning to me, one of the most beautiful women, and was considered extremely beautiful in the 80s and 90s. She was even in lists of Most Beautiful Faces and a man shot a US president 6 times to impress her.

I think she's a stunner! Beautiful indeed.

Jodie Foster really is one of the greats

And she’s always been great!

Do you think Jodie Foster has a chance of winning a 3rd Oscar someday?

I don’t think it’s out of the question. She’s an immensely talented actress who, to the best of my knowledge, is very respected in the industry. I could definitely see her winning a best supporting actress Oscar somewhere down the road.

Jodie Foster says generation Z can be ‘really annoying’ to work with. What’s everyone’s thoughts on this?

I’m curious as to what sector of the film industry allows you to make your own hours like that, especially in such a flippant manner towards your boss. I’m just a dumb grip but in the below the line world the golden rule is basically “don’t be late and be marginally pleasant to work with… but mainly don’t be late.” The handful of Gen Z’ers who’ve become regulars on our crew are all extremely hardworking and eager to learn, but I get Foster probably isn’t referring to below the line technicians here.
